All girls go through a period of wardrobe agony, when nothing in your closet is appealing and you wonder why you made such awful purchases. Well just hold on to those awful purchases because they just may become one of your favorite outfits.


Lately, I've been trying to find ways on how to spruce up my style, that is with the current trends, tho without spending a ton of money. I'm sure you all are seeing how boots, tights and tunics have taken over the town. I can't blame them for this comfy yet stylish trend.


How you can update your look and closet items:



1. Black leggings are a must, they come in various fabrics, styles, and lengths

Personal input: I prefer the longer length to the ankle, it lengthens the legs and makes them look super skinny.


2. Black elastic wide belt is most second important accessory to this new updated look, they come in various styles, clasps, zippers,buckles, so many choices.

Personal input: I prefer the wide elastic clasp belts, the widths vary so be sure to pick the right width for your frame. I have to say a belt makes a world of difference with clothes, especially the elastic belts, because those you can wear all along the torso, just depends on what look you are trying to get. I've found the best place to wear the belt is higher up the torso this helps to enhance and slim the waistline!


3. Black shoes, pumps, peep toe, closed toe, round toe, ankle boots, casual boots, flat boots, dress boots, slouch boots....a ton of options, pick the one that best sets the tone you are looking for!

Personal input: I prefer simple black pumps because you can use them for any occasion.



Once you have these 3 items, your fashion choices are endless. You all will be amazed of just how many new outfits your closets hold!
